Equinox Men, solo exhibition, Kunstverein Langenhagen, Langenhagen, Germany, 2015/16.
At the centre of this exhibition are a pair of carnival fools, locked in a gaze that freezes them in time. The show presents new works that consider the function of carnivalesque disguises and props as objects of ritual. The exhibition includes a video in which a historical re-enactment rifleman describes the process of shooting at the sky in the hope of controlling storms and rainclouds.
